Tolu Adepoju

Founder & Managing Director

MACP, CCC (she/her)

As the Founder & Managing Director of Ashay Therapy, Tolu has built a practice grounded in authenticity, compassion, and cultural attunement. A Registered Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Tolu specializes in helping high-functioning women who navigate the weight of trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She believes therapy is a collaborative journey where the client is the expert of their experience, and the therapist’s role is to provide tools, insight, and guidance toward healing and self-understanding.

Tolu is especially passionate about supporting people of colour in their mental health journeys and creating a space where clients can unmask, feel seen, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Her work is centered on helping clients cultivate emotional resilience, balance, and confidence in who they are both within and beyond the therapy room.

When she’s not working, you can find Tolu hanging out with friends, watching reality TV, or planning her next travel adventure.
