Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

OUR APPROACHES

For when past experiences still feel present, even when you’ve tried to move on.

What It Is:

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and release distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or activating. It works with the brain’s natural healing ability, helping you shift how past experiences are stored—often without needing to talk through every detail.

Best for:

Trauma · Anxiety · PTSD · Distressing or “stuck” memories · Negative self-beliefs

Through guided eye movements (or other forms of bilateral stimulation), EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult experiences so they feel less intense and more manageable. Over time, this can reduce emotional distress, shift negative beliefs, and create a greater sense of calm, clarity, and control.
